1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, installing, or using the Teachora mobile application ("App") and services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Services.

Teachora is a platform that connects students seeking educational services with qualified tutors. These Terms apply to all users, including students, tutors, and visitors.

3Eligibility and Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or minimum age in your jurisdiction)
Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent
You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements

3.2 Account Creation

You may register using your phone number with OTP verification or through Google Sign-In. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4User Responsibilities

For Students

Provide accurate learning needs
Attend sessions on time
Professional treatment of tutors
Pay for services as agreed

For Tutors

Deliver quality tutoring sessions
Respond to requests promptly
Comply with educational standards
Honor scheduled classes

5Booking and Management

Booking Types: One-time, recurring, and trial classes are available.

Process: Sessions are confirmed only after tutor acceptance and payment.

Conduct: All classes must be conducted through the App's video call feature.

6Payments and Wallet

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors including Razorpay. We do not store complete payment card information.

Tutors receive earnings credited to their wallet after class completion, which can be withdrawn to bank accounts subject to verification.

7Live Classes and AI Features

Classes use Jitsi Meet integration.

AI features are supplementary tools.

9. Intellectual Property

Platform features, design, and software are our property. You retain ownership of content you create but grant us a license to use it within the App.

11. Prohibited Activities

Users may not harass others, share false info, or attempt to circumvent platform payment systems.

13. Disclaimers

The App and Services are provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or fraudulent activity.
